River Poker is a free poker game played with virtual chips. There is no real money, no ads and nothing to buy. This page explains what the game stores about you and how to remove it.
What we store
- Your game profile: nickname, avatar, chips, level, rank, achievements, missions, settings and statistics. The game needs these to work.
- What other players see: your nickname, avatar, level and rank, at tables and on the leaderboards. Big wins show your nickname in the lobby’s recent wins list for one day.
- Account details, only if you create an account: your username, your email address and your password. The password is stored only as a salted hash, never as plain text. Your email is used to log in and to add friends, and it is never shown to other players.
- Friends: the players you added and the requests between you.
- Notifications, only if you turn them on: the address your browser gives us for push notifications, and your time zone, so the reminder arrives in the evening.
- Invites: if you joined through a friend’s link, which player invited you, so you both get the reward.
- In your browser: your progress and a login token are saved in local storage, so you stay signed in.
What we don’t do
- No ads, no tracking scripts and no analytics.
- We don’t sell your data or share it with anyone.
- Emoji reactions at a table are not stored. They disappear with the table.
Services the game uses
- The game runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the site and the game servers. Like any website, your requests pass through its network.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a font loads.
- If you turn on notifications, they are delivered through your browser’s push service (for example Google, Mozilla or Apple).
Deleting your data
Open Profile → Settings → Delete account. Your profile, chips, progress, friends list, email and notification settings are erased from the server right away. Guests can delete their profile the same way. To remove what is saved in your browser, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
Children
River Poker is not directed at children under 13.
